I have an option for you, but there is not a custom fit trailer hitch receiver confirmed to fit your 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer.
The only option is to install a universal trailer hitch receiver like the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver # 41990-16 that has 16" brackets that a local fabrication shop can custom fit to your vehicle.

I have a replacement weight distribution system option, but I reached out to my contact at Reese and the new trunnions and spring bars will unfortunately not fit in your older system due to the new components being a different size.
Instead I recommend replacing the system with the Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control - Trunnion - 10K GTW, 1K TW # RP66559 which works with total tongue weights between 500-1000lbs and would be a great replacement for your older system.... view full answer...

I recommend using the Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit # RM-152-98146-7 for your 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. This splices into your OEM wiring but has diodes that protect your OEM wiring from damage.
